About me

My name is Louise and I am the founder of Connect 4 Dog Training. I started my career working in a wildlife hospital, where I earned my level NVQ level 2 in animal care. I moved on to work in a vets with cats, dogs and exotic pets.

I then spent 15 years working in retail, including pharmacy experience. This enabled me to gain customer service and people skills. I now want to go back to my passion of working with animals, as a dog trainer, specialising in assistance dog training.

As someone living with disabilities I am able to empathise and understand clients who may need help training an assistance dog. I only use force free, reward-based training methods.

I have my own assistance dog called Oscar and he has changed my life! I would love to help others train their dog to become a life changer!

I am certified in canine first aid and I also hold a safeguarding certificate and have an enhanced DBS check.
